PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY
AND
EXPERIENCE
I'm a clinical social worker who meets with children, adolescents, adults and families. I support clients to make changes in the “here and now.” I use a variety of methods tailored to the unique needs of my clients, including psychodynamic therapy, strengths-based therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, structural family therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy and mindfulness. I help clients be gentle with themselves and build the capacity for self-love. I have experience helping people manage issues like anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting and stress management.
I received my Masters in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City, and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. In 2015 worked as family therapist for Graham Windham and supervised the Brief Strategic Family Therapy program from 2017-2019. Before moving to Rochester, NY I spent two years living and working as a psychotherapist in Burlington, VT at the Vermont Center for Anxiety Care. I have post-graduate training in Brief Strategic Family Therapy, TGNC and LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling, anti-racist therapeutic support, therapeutic crisis intervention, and trauma stewardship.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
I'll provide time and support for whatever you need to talk about. We can design tools that work for you to get through life's many difficulties.
I'll go where you lead.
FAMILY THERAPY
My passion is supporting families of all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it's helpful to talk directly with the people you're living with. Every family has conflict: Let's look at what's working and what could change. I help everyone in the family come together.
RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
Whether you and your partner(s) have been together a year or 30 years, there's great opportunity in learning new ways to communicate and connect. Love can come with hardship and I'm here to see you through it.
THERAPY FOR YOUR CHILD
For toddlers to teens, I provide therapy that involves creativity, play and age-appropriate exploration. Child development and behavior isn't always so black and white; I provide insight and resources to keep your child growing strong.
